MONS

The photographs of the Mons series are characterized by a perceptive game. A superficial glimpse at the picture will show no more than solitary men climbing steep rocks with majestic and polymorphous forms. Yet soon perplexity will take the viewer: while the mountains seem to be made of calcareous rock, Karst formations typical of the soft rock material, and covered by colorful moss and lichens, the scale seems off.
